Behind the bnc connector is a small diecast box containing the log detector board. The output of which feeds a Pic microprocessor and a 20x2 line lcd display.

Shown on screen is the startup with no input. It floats around the detector base level with no input.

Using a suitable power tap you can measure up to 1kW.
I built a 40dB tap.

This is a project I originally designed and built independently but kept blowing the log amp.
Then I came across the same project but better implemented on the website of OZ2CPU.

He published his design in Elektor and they offered a pcb.  I ordered the pcb and remade the design in it's present form.

The box is the original BitX portable recycled with a new front panel.

GPSDO
A GPS disciplined 10MHz oscillator.
This uses a Rockwell GPS module and a Pic micro to lock a 10MHz temperature controlled  oscillator module
Bit X 40 Portable Rig
This is a Bit X rig using a Hendicks 20m kit as the basis.
I've modified it to run on 40m with an Arduino Uno with an si5351 vfo/bfo plus 8x2 line LCD readout.
Arduino Stuff
Arduino Mega and ebay 2.6" TFT Touchscreen display as rig readout.
Tested but code needs optimising.
